~My Jenna~
....I have found her amazing since the moment she was born........... over 23 years ago........when I was just 19 years old........in the middle of a blizzard....she was two weeks early & weighed just 4lbs, 14oz ......& the healthiest baby in the nursery.......the when she was 6 months old & I handed her a little book to look at.....not realizing it was upside down...she looked at for a second..and turned it right side up!!!!!!!!!!!!! She talked early...oh gracious how she talked....she walked early..started school early...she was the youngest in her Kindergarten class.....the youngest in her class when she graduated...she is so amazing.....I could go on and on..the only thing she hasn't done early is leave home....and I am sooo thankful for that...but now......she has decided..the time has come!!! Jenna and Ben are moving in together......they both have jobs for the summer (as part of their internships for school)..they have rented a beautiful house with another couple from school....she will have a new home..her own home! I knew the moment I met Ben ....things would be different...things would change...when I saw them together...I just knew.......I remember saying to myself.."oh goodness..this is going to be serious"..he is kind and loving and just as bright and fun and brilliant as Jenna is...and he loves my daughter like all mothers want their daughters to be loved!!!!
As a mother...your childrens happiness means EVERYTHING ...and I can not tell you how good it feels to know how happy Jenna is!

Doreen, As I sat here looking at these pictures ,tears running done my face!It takes me back, Jenna with her own language.Well she knew what she was saying even when we didn't.The one the music teacher so wanted to see on stage someday.That was not the path she took although she always commands an audiance wherever she goes.Jenna has a thirst for adventure and knowledge and Ben and Jenna will continue that search together now. I wonder who will lead the way? Mom
Awww, happy birthday Jenna!
What a great tribute.

Awww... I got a little choked up reading this. Jenna is very lucky to have a mother who writes about her the way that you do. Best wishes to her in her new home!
Hugs,
Stephanie
What a beautiful post Doreen (and a beautiful song as well). Looks like you raised a special lady, and I'm sure she is as proud of you as you are of her. With my own 2 growing like weeds, your thoughts and your words make me look towards the future with hope knowing that even if they do grown up, they won't grow apart from me.
Wish you could join us too! Should be lots of fun. By the way, I love the music on your blog now too. It's beautiful. Dawn
Wow, doreen that was just lovely. I don't even know ya real well, and it made feel so good for you...its obvious the love and pride that you feel for her. she is beautiful! i wish her and you every success as she grows into her own SPOT! Homepun hugs, robin
Hi Doreen, Jenna is BEAUtiful, I know it must be very hard to let her go. All that she is and does is a reflection of your love, I would be proud too! Julie
What a wonderful slide show. That's really cool - beautiful. Although I am more programmed for boys (because I understand them, I guess), I have learned to appreciate the daughter ethic through teaching school. Happy day to you and yours!
Came to wish you a "Happy Mother's Day"...and I can see by your post you are! Hope your day is full of love.
What a wonderful post and slideshow...Jenna is a lucky girl...she has you for a Mom...Doreen, that was wonderful...her first place..how exciting!!!
~~~~~Happy Mother's Day~~~~~~
Happy Mother's Day Doreen.
May the love you share and cherish with each of your children and your Mother bring joy and comfort to you today.
And may I also extend wishes of happiness to Jenna and Ben and their new adventure together.
