Now....Our Memorial Day was a bit different....although..more than likely....it was a typical Vermonters Memorial Day :).....we worked on The Browe Farm (Mark's sister Steph..and her husband Rick's Farm)......We "hayed it".......mowed....raked...baled and wrapped.

~My handsome husband..grabbing a round bale for wrapping..gosh he always looks so handsome driving a tractor~
~Pa...(Mark's Dad)...wrapping the round bales~
~Mark, grabbing another bale~
~Pa climbing down from the tractor as Mark places another round bale on the wrapper~
~Mark...again....:)~
~Look at the beautiful sky!!!!! The farm is just beyond the trees.....you can see the red barns if you look closely~

I have noticed that husbands look very handsome indeed when they are working. LOL...
Your yard is like a jewel. To think it was all covered in snow before! And is now so green and lovely and filled with growing things. I bet you get a bumper crop of pumpkins!
Good morning Doreen! I just love the pics, the beauty of the farms around you are breathtaking.
Last year it was so wet that the haying here was delayed a few weeks. If it stays dry the pumpkins should do well too.
I hope you'll share the recipe for the crumble it looks yummy!

I would love some of that bluberry cobbler too please. I have ALWAYS wanted to move to Vermont. I have a romantic vision in my head of how beautiful and idyllic it is, and to see your pictures, I know it now to be true! One day I will visit as it's so lovely. Your garden and surrounds are amazing.
I love your work too - a total reflection of how I would picture things I'd make if I lived there. Must be the old spirit in me or something. Just precious! Take care, Bag#1 - Jeannine
