~Greetings. The snow and the wind doth blow on this Tuesday morning in Vermont. We had a fresh new layer of snow overnight and now it is softly falling & is swirling about, slamming into the windows on a strong, bitter blustery wind! I shall be stitching the day away by a cozy fire. Wishing you a joy filled day.~

~Joyous December To You~

Good morning everyone. IT SNOWED....IT FINALLY SNOWED!!!! Oh what a lovely site it was...blowing & swirling about..it was beautiful. It didn't last very long...but this morning we have a lovely dusting of snow on the ground. :)...now all we need is a good olde fashioned snowstorm!!! I'm waiting.........not so patiently......:)!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have just three new offerings to share with you this morning. I had a show this past weekend...a wonderful show....(Thank you to all my wonderful customers..old & new for making it such a success) which cleaned me out.....SO... I had to work feverishly on Sunday & Monday to finish up these three offerings.
Father Christmas is available on Simply Primitives. He is made from creamy blackened beeswax..I just love how very detailed he is.
The next two items are available on Early Work Mercantile & My Website.
~Early Paper Chain~
I LOVE making these paper chains. I had a tree decorated with a paper chain, tiny white twinkle lights & my beeswax sampler ornies and I had a gal come up to me and say..."I'll take the whole tree"!!! They really look stunning on the tree or piled into an olde wooden bowl or trencher.
And last but certainly not least is this sweet, young
"Cotswold Sheep"i do believe this gal may just be my favorite sheep creation so far..her face is so sweet & lovely.
And now I must run and pick up the house real quick then jump in the shower...I am going Christmas shopping this morning...I'm on the hunt for a Wii...among other things!
Wishing you all a most wonderful first day of December!
Doreen
Hi Doreen, sure do love your paper chain! I could just see that on a tree - just like the lady bought. Your house looks so nice with the paint and furniture, isn't it fun to have everything spiffed up? Have you started decorating for the holidays yet? Have a good week, Dawn
Doreen, Wow it was a wonderful show wasn't it? There isjust something about that show that says Tis Christmas !!! Everyone is so happy and excited to shop with the best the area has to offer . I really need to get myself there a bit sooner as I lost out on two wonderful pieces. I am lucky though as Iam very close to the artist and even though I lost a one of a kind the other will be recreated for me . Iagree thisis the most amazing sheep so far . And the paper chains ,you have taken many of us backin time when Christmas was more about what we had not what we wanted . Love MOM
What a lovely blog you have Doreen! Glad you finally received some snow. Can't help but wonder if youve had anymore since the 1st. We didn't have a lot but what we did have is being washed away by the rain this evening. I hear we're in for some bitter cold temps this week. Not looking forward to that!
Have a good week! I'm liking that sheep too!
