I am thrilled beyond words about these new creations. Making dolls of this type has been a dream of mine literally since I was a child. It truly is different for me with these dolls, I can not explain it...but.. ...I've never felt such excitement and pure happiness over something I've made! I absolutely can not wait to start my next one!!!

~Early Work Mercantile~ Sneak Peeks

Good morning. Gracious what an absolutely beautiful day it is in Vermont today! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the trees once again have leaves, my flowers and herbs are poping up everywhere, bumble bees flitter here an there and I am enjoying a lovely glass of ice water while I edit photos and prepare to write my descriptions for my Early Work Mercantile Offerings. Our doors will open Friday, May 1st at 12am!

~Simply Primitives Offerings & A Sneak Peek~

Good morning everyone! Tis such a beautiful morning here! I wanted to share a couple of things with you this morning...first, this month on Simply Primitives I am offering these lovely little Sweet Annie Seed boxes. They are packed FULL of fragrant Sweet Annie seeds ready for planting. If you've never grown Sweet Annie, let me tell you, you will not be disappointed...it is amazing... easy to grow, hardy and smells incredible. I have some planted along the front porch and along the deck on the back of the house and when the slightest breeze blows in the summertime, the house is filled with it's wonderful fragrance.

Next I wanted to show you a little sneak peek of one of the things I'm working on for the Grand Opening of ~Early Work Mercantile~I am loving the way this young lady is coming to life!

Speaking of The Mercantile...we are getting close and I'm so excited!!!! We now have 27 Artists signed up to participate!!! I'm thrilled! It's a lot of work...& I absoultely love it!

I'm off now to take my morning walk, then I am determined to do Yoga this morning...which i've put on the back burner far to often in the past couple of weeks..then I'm going to throw some scalloped potoatos and ham in the crockpot (need to use that leftover ham from Easter) and then I'm headed into the studio!

I wanted to share a lovely photo & email from a dear sweet customer of mine. Pam has been a great customer and friend for a couple of years now. She is so sweet and sends me photo's now and then of my dear creations placed in her home..this one arrived this morning and just made my day!

~Is it April or November???~

Good morning! As you know...I'm generally not one to complain about the weather...but my goodness..it's downright horrible outside right now.....it is 37* with a bitter..and i mean bitter wind that is gusting and howling at 20mph...and on top of that...it's raining....FOR CRYING OUT LOUD....what month are we in! I'm sitting here at my desk...working on setting up the rest of the sellers pages for the new Mercantile and the wind is gusting at such a force...I can feel it sneaking in through the edges of these old windows! I finally got up and made myself some homemade hot cocoa....it's delicious..I've not made real homemade cocoa in years and now that I have made some...I'm asking myself why I do not make it more often!


Alright...I just wanted to pop in and say hello..I feel I've been remiss in visiting lately and I do apologize for that...lots of things going on here with the new Mercantile.....keeping up with another online class.....finishing orders...deadlines..and working on new creations..I have been working into the wee hours and back up before the sun......burning my candle at both ends you might say...I am loving it though and wouldn't trade it for the world!

~By the way...what is everyone doing for Easter....Tis this Sunday in case you forgot:)....I love Easter..makes me miss my gram so very much t hough...I LOVED Easter at my Grandparents house..and Gram made the absolute best mashed potatoes you've ever had! My Mom has taken over now..and she does a wonderful job...I can not wait to have that spiral sliced ham, mashed potato's, brocolli cheese casserole (which I bring) homemade rolls..the list goes on and on....mmmm!
