~Greetings. The snow and the wind doth blow on this Tuesday morning in Vermont. We had a fresh new layer of snow overnight and now it is softly falling & is swirling about, slamming into the windows on a strong, bitter blustery wind! I shall be stitching the day away by a cozy fire. Wishing you a joy filled day.~

~The Tweedle's~

Whew...Thank Goodness I am finally finished with these two!!! I have not had a creation challenge me like this in a very, very long time...actually...I'm not sure I've ever had a piece challenge me like this!!! I'm just not meant to bring someone else's vision to life..... I simply can not force something to look a certain way......It's frustrating....extremely frustrating actually!...I have also realized that it is almost impossible for me to recreate an exact copy of something I've made....at least with sculpting......I tried my absolute hardest to get these two to look the same and I could just NOT do it!
I blame them actually!!!!! :)..... Tweedledee was THE WORST!!! What a brat this guy was!! He's the one on the right..he looks like a troublemaker doesn't he!!!! I can not tell you how many times I had to put him down and walk away....or... how many times I set him aside and said.."forget it"..."I just can't do this" and truly intended to just give up on the whole thing...........then I would walk by and see Tweedledum and think.."nope..he's just too cute..I have to finish this!" So...after 7 faces....yes...7 faces on Tweedledee...I finally said..enough is enough...this is who you are! Once they were done and attached to their base...I stepped back and took a look and I'm actually pretty happy with how they came out....but ...boy oh boy...am I EVER glad they are done!

Doreen, I do think these guys are WONDERFUL...it doesn't matter that they don't look EXACTLY ALIKE...that's what HAND MADE is...and these are truly ONE OF A KIND....
Sorry you had to beat yourself up over it because I think the slight difference is PERFECT.
You don't want an assembly line look.

YOU GOT THE BEST LOOK.
