Good morning dear friends. I had planned on writing this post yesterday afternoon but alas I found myself wrapped up in my gardening and never quite made it inside to write. What an absolutely wonderful weekend I had..the show was just perfect...gracious what a stunning home Kris & Paul have..the house itself is just gorgeous and the grounds..OH MY!!! The gardens are amazing! Heirloom plants abound and chickens wander in the garden's foraging for bugs. There was the cutest little chicken there...I wanted to put her in my suitcase & bring her home! I tried to get a picture of her but she was a shy gal and scurried off before I could take one.
This show was particularly special for me as I was able to meet so many of my wonderful customers, newsletter subscribers, blog readers and fellow artists! Hello Ladies!!! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart ..it means so very much and it was absolutely wonderful to meet all of you. Your compliments and kind words humbled me & I will cherish this amazing day & your wonderful smiles forever.One of the lovely ladies I had the privilege to meet was Marilyn of Thistlebrooms Primitives;
what a great lady and so much FUN!I will be doing another show at Walker Homestead in September
My list is started and ideas are flowing...my booth will be jam packed for this one.....as I have much more time to plan and create....I've lot's of new and exciting things to come...I'm also planning a whole new look for my booth :)I could go on and on for hours.....but alas I have much to do today..so I will leave you with a link to Walker Homestead's picture trail where you will find lot's of photo's from the show.
I'll be back tomorrow to share My Visit To Old Sturbridge Village!!! Oh my goodness..what an amazing place!!!
Wishing you a joyous day....Doreen

Doreen, you are such an amazing artist and crafter. I would be proud to own one of your creations.
It sounds like a wonderful weekend! A beautiful place and a very lovely picture of you and Marilyn. Wish it wasn't so far away or I might have made the drive myself....so tempting!! I saw the pictures on another picture trail site. Your booth looked fantastic.
Your pics of Sturbridge brought back some good memories of my daughter when she was just 3. My husband was working in Rhode Island, Lydia and I were driving around and somehow ended up there. It had rained earlier and we had the whole place to ourselves, it was great. I think we spent most of the time in the school house dressing up in bonnets!!
It's always nice to come home...full of inspiration and ideas.
Gosh I've rambled on again :)
Enjoy your day and happy gardening!
Sending hugs ~ Jenn
