I walk slowly through the tidy house a mug of cocoa cupped in my hands. The fire crackles and the scent of cinnamon rises from the cake baking in the oven as sleet & wind thrust themselves against the windows. I stop off at my writing desk to put pencil to paper as a flicker of a story, just a few random words, find their way out of my thankfully calming mind. I glance out the window to see a Cardinal clutched to the feeder, holding strong against the wind. I get up, mug in hand once again, and head into my studio.
AH YES....INSPIRATION...CREATIVITY....JOY...THEY'VE FINALLY COME BACK TO ME!

I think I should like visiting this cozy cottage you describe ;) I'm glad your creativity is coming back, not that I've ever suspected that it left with all your pretty creations I see on facebook popping up.
