~"Creativity is the quality that you bring to the activity that you are doing. It is an attitude, an inner approach to how you look at things. Whatsoever you do, if you do it joyfully, if you do it lovingly, if your act of doing it is not purely economical, then it is creative." ~ Osho”~

~October In New England~

"There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on, and produce so pleasant an effect on
the feelings, as now in October."
~ Nathaniel Hawthorne

Merry October To Thee.  Tis a fog laden Tuesday Morn' here in Vermont as the beautiful, crisp month of October begins.  We've geese making their way south, leaves of golden, orange & red surround us, smoke billows from chimney's far & wide
, apples grow juicy, pumpkins ripen, corn drys,  acorns drop, and sunflowers blossom, as soup simmers and bread rises.  OH, how I LOVE this time of year!!

IN THE HARVEST STUDIO.....Black cats and wee witches, wise owls and black pumpkins, brown bears and wee mousers are all slowly but surely coming to life as I prepare for next weeks web show.

IN THE HARVEST KITCHEN............Italian Chicken Soup & homemade rolls for dinner on this first lovely day of October.

Wishing you the merriest of days. :)Doreen

I am visiting Vermont next week. First time ever there and coming from California. If you had just one day to go to Vermont, where would you go? I'd love your input. PS I'm a quilter.
Thanks!

Happy Fall Doreen from your friend in Northern Vermont. We have been busy harvesting apples and making cider.

Kathy, You might enjoy visiting the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont. You can google it to find out more information.

Thanks for the ideas. We will be going to Shelburne which I am so excited about, and think we will take you up on Woodstock. Is the prettier route to Woodstock down the 100 or 89? I am making this trip with a quilting friend so we will be two crazy women driving through Vermont, with our husbands' blessings, but I don't want to find myself lost somewhere! Thanks for any info!
