~In My Hoop...Making progress~

Glad Tidings. Oh what an absolutely beautiful morning it is here in Vermont. Yesterday's storm has passed leaving us with close to two feet of fresh snow.  Mother Nature was NOT kidding when she sent this one our way!!  This morning, after breakfast, I donned my snowshoes & Oliver and I headed out into the snowy woods (hence the reason for my tardy post). It was actually difficult going as the snow was so very deep. After only 1/2 hour we were both quite tired and decided to head in. On our way back, snow began to softly fall, as the next small storm moves in.

IN THE HARVEST STUDIO.....As you can see I am making progress with my new Fraktur design. Oh my goodness, I just love it. He's such a regal looking fellow don't you think?

 (a look at the back)

IN THE HARVEST KITCHEN......Dinner out at one of our favorite restaurant this evening..The Iron Lantern :).

Wishing you a cozy day. ♥D

Hi Doreen,

I love the earth tone colors that you are using.

Have a fun Valentine's dinner, be careful out on the icy roads.

Hugs

This piece is looking so beautiful! Who can resist a polka dot bird? I think VT and ME are going to get another foot of snow from this evenings storm... has not reached central NJ yet... enjoy your meal out! Every restaurant I dined in in VT was awesome!

I love your blog. I happened on it yesterday via The Painted Quilt blog. I am new to punch needle and certainly enjoy the tips and examples on your blog. You have a new, dedicated follower.
