~The Soft Side Of Mother Nature~

Goode Snowy Day To You. It is snowing so very beautifully here this morning. Thick, perfectly formed snowflakes are falling fast and heavy giving our world a magical beauty we only see a few times a year. Oh, how I love these kind of snow storms. It reminds us of the beauty & soft side of Mother Nature. Inside, a warm fire burns, candles glow and a batch of peanut butter cookies bakes in the oven. The house is tidy, my comfy work clothes are donned and it's time to begin a day of stitching.

IN THE HARVEST STUDIO.....Moppet making continues today as does my progress on my new punch needle designs ..AND I've begun a sweet new needle felted pup :).

~IN THE HARVEST KITCHEN......Baked Chicken, Mashed Yukon Gold potatoes with Cheddar Cheese, Onion & Apple stuffing and roasted Acorn squash for dinner on this snowy New England Evening.

Wishing you a cozy day. ♥D

Hi Doreen,

I am such a lover of snow but here in the mountains today it is a sunny, fairly mild day and it feels good. I am noticing more bird songs in the mornings and I can almost smell the overturned soil ready for my plantings.
I know we still have more winter coming but it's fun to dream.

Enjoy your snowy day.

Hugs

Hi Doreen, we here in Wisconsin are enjoying 42 degree weather for a day or two. Then we go back to snow and cold.
I was reading what you were making for dinner and I said to myself " I wish I lived close to Doreen " . It sounds delicious. Haha,,,
Enjoy the day,
Julie
